Having more than 25 years of experience, Betul Goksal worked as an HR professional in various organizations, mostly in multinational companies. Though her primary expertise is in the banking sector she also has HR management experience in production, sales and software companies.
After having started her career as an industrial psychologist in a production company, namely Elf Aquitaine where she has implemented parent company’s HR systems into Turkish subsidiary, she has then worked at Intertech Bilisim as HR Manager.
Betül Göksal started working in the banking sector in 1996 at Deutsche Bank followed by Calyon Bank, Merrill Lynch Yatırım Bank and once again at Deutsche Bank, respectively. She has been involved not only in various organizational growth, restructuring, smart-sourcing projects but also been a part of global HR transformation projects. In her last 4 years at Deutsche Bank, she also had the HR Director responsibility for Czech Republic, Hungary and Israel in addition to Turkey. Having lived in San Francisco between 2013 and 2018, Betül Göksal has advised start-up companies in the establishment of HR processes and systems. For the last two years, she is continuing to work as HR Consultant to both multinational and local companies while she is also working as practitioner in clinical psychology.
Betül Göksal has a major in Psychology from Boğaziçi University and completed certification program in Organizational Behavior. She is married and has two children.
